Fox Valley Music Teachers Assc. does fund raising throughout the year and has money set aside to give to needy families towards their piano lesson tuition. The form is located on the website: www.fvmta.org<br /><br /><blockquote> Student Scholarship forms need to be submitted by October 11th to Nancy Lephardt.<br /><br />The forms are on our website, but of course last years dates are included and <strong><span style="font-family: "Tahoma", "sans-serif";">not</span></strong> current. Thus,members can get the information and forms off of our website, <strong><span style="font-family: "Tahoma", "sans-serif";">but remember the date they need to be mailed to Nancy Lephardt is October 11th</span></strong>, not the dates currently listed on the website. I can't change those dates from my computer, I don't think.. not sure how to do this?<br /><br />Remember, that each student submitting a form needs two letters of referral from someone outside of the family. I can say this even if you have taken lessons all summer because we had a break for a week between our summer and fall schedule. Turk has been patiently waiting for you!<br /><br /><b>Some important changes</b> this year involve all newsletters and announcements will be posted on this blog only. I will be also phasing out my roxeymegna@new.rr.com email and have opened a business email: attunecreations@gmail.com<br /><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><br /><blockquote><span style="font-size: large;">I am asking everyone to send me a sign-up email so that I can send group emails. Send a blank email with 'sign-up' written in the subject line to attunecreations@gmail.com.</span> </blockquote><br />I feel like I am behind in getting organized because I used the week off to tackle my monster closet in my studio room that was clogging up the flow of things. Ahhhhh! I have cleared it out, but still have more organizing to do for my music. At least I can find it now. I will be working on a final calendar at least through December and other updates including Music Money.<br /><br />I have ordered a new computer and will possibly use my old one in the studio. I have also ordered new prizes for buying with Music Money. I've also ordered more Music Money because I am anticipating the students making lots of 'money' with their practice minutes!<br /><br />Check out the Music Money page on this blog and also the Music Money Store. I will try to keep the Store page updated. This will help students at Holy Cross be able to see what I have and contact me to buy something from what is shown online<br /><br /><b>New fees</b><br />I will be raising the price of a lesson to $17/half hour lesson. You will have the option of paying monthly or for 3 months. If paying the 3 month total you will receive a credit for one lesson.<br /><br />Here is the fee for the Fall Quarter - they include the once a year book fee per family:<br /><ul><li> Monday Lessons: $227</li><li>Tuesday Lessons: $244</li><li>Wednesday Lessons: $244</li><li>Thursday Lessons: $193</li><li>Friday Lessons: $193</li></ul>I will probably have some days I didn't realize would be off, but it looks like there are a lot less days off school this year.
