Music Money

Music Money is an incentive program to encourage increasing practice time, making practice time more productive and overall making better musicians!  Students are paid 'music money' (fake money) for practice time.  More incentives will be added in the future.  There will be small prizes they can buy with their music money.

General Rules are:
  • $1 Music Money paid for every 10 minutes of practice
  • $5 Music Money paid for performances: songs must be something worked on in lessons and performances may be at church, at a recital, or in school.  An emphasis on preparation will be the ticket here.  A signed note from teacher or person in charge must be presented at lesson to receive music money.
  • Minutes will be added every month by student with music money paid monthly.
  • You may buy something at each lesson, but you will have it decided ahead of time with music money ready to purchase
